Summary
Castiel is stuck in the emotional rollercoaster of an engagement going to hell in realtime. Dean is drained by the daily trot of running his buiseness and yearns for something to ignite the passion in his heart he's been missing for years.
Their clash ends with an accidental claim that just seems to make everything worse. Forced to face the demons of their pasts and futures, all the while trying to mend the gashes that their encounter left on them, they unknowingly head down a path neither of them had ever pictured for themselves.

Summary
Cas looks even more tired than Dean feels. His eyes are red and the bags under them are more prominent than ever. His hair is a hot mess, reminding Dean of the time when Cas was still able to take off any second with just a flick of his wings. The cut on his neck is covered with a white bandage now and he wears different clothes, a gray sweatpants and a black shirt with a hole on the collar, that Dean recognizes as one of his. It makes him look different. It makes him look soft.
Dean likes it a lot.

Cas is back and that is great. Except that it worries Dean how much Cas struggles to adjust to humanity, haunted by nightmares and memories every night. So it's just a gesture of their friendship, despite Castiel's feelings for him, when Dean offers Cas to stay with him at night.

Summary
Castiel is a Fae prince, charged with protecting the forests and their inhabitants. When someone or something begins killing hikers in his forest, Castiel is concerned and suspicious. When two F.B.I. agents arrive on the scene, he's immediately taken with the one with the green eyes. As more victims are discovered, it is also revealed that the agents are really hunters. What does that mean for Castiel as an otherworldly being? What does that mean for the killer in the forest?
As a rule, Dean doesn't trust monsters or creatures. He's confused then when he starts having feelings for the faerie at the center of their increasingly odd case. On one hand, Dean wants to gank him, but on the other...he has such amazing blue eyes. As Dean argues with himself and his feelings, something still lurks out in the woods, killing people for a sinister purpose. He can't afford to lose focus. And what happens if the faerie really is the problem?
