Summary
Who would have guessed that the guy that looked like a bathroom-sign would have a literal nuke in his pocket? Not the color gang. But when the smoke clears, the ones remaining have to witness the aftermath of it all.
The color gang is without their orange hollowhead and must team up with the remaining mercenaries that are also without their leader.
The Second Coming is trapped, exhausted, and forced to face an enemy he never wanted to see again.
Mitsi is confused but knows she needs to do something to get Victim back.

And Chosen knows names, she can figure it out.
The vitriol, the fury, the pain. The way every visible inch of their skin is scarred, layers upon layers upon layers of slices and burns and bruises that went bone-deep.
She doesn't need them to say anything more.
They do anyway.
"A year," they say. Five years. "A year of torture and murder, over and over and over and over again." Five years of burned palms, nothing but letters to eat, a weight that kept her from walking, let alone flying. "And every time I tried to escape, to destroy it instead—well, I was just a victim, wasn't I? Completely powerless and helpless and pathetic victim."
The thing about The Chosen One is something Chosen doesn't discover until Avast's chest closes over her for the first time.
The thing about The Chosen One is The Chosen One loses.
In the Box, somewhere between The Chosen One's fall and victim's ascension, they have something that could almost be called a conversation.

Summary
It's getting harder and harder for Yellow to ignore the fact that Alan's expressions don't fit with the way she thought he felt.
She's catalogued that twist of the lips as holding back a grimace, not a smile. She's labeled that glint in his eyes as irritation, not fondness. She's linked the way he drums his fingers on the desk to impatience, not an idle movement.
When Green and Blue blow a hole in the taskbar, he's not trying to not smile, he's trying to not yell. When Red spawns animals all over the PC, he's not looking at him fondly, but with annoyance. When Orange encourages him to take on more and more of the work animating, he's waiting for something.
Orange's deal with Alan goes like this: if they help him animate, he won't delete them. But what if Alan never grew fond of the sticks living on his computer? What happens when Alan comes into his own as an animator, enough to not need Orange's help anymore? Yellow, and the others, find out.
