He pressed himself further back into the corner, a snarl coming to his lips. The eye creatures never reacted to his shouting, but they did hesitate when he growled. But when the lanky aliens came around the corner, they didn't so much as look at him. Instead, they were focused on what looked like a stretcher, the kind that ambulances used back on Earth.
Sitting atop it, perfectly still, was another human.
Scar felt his heart stop in his chest. It was impossible. There was no way there was another human on the ship. It had to be a trick of some kind, a robot made to look human, or a statue, or something. This was some sort of experiment, a test to see how he would react to seeing something that looked like his own species.
But they looked so lifelike.

Summary
Broadway Star, Scar ‘Hot Guy’ Good Times, and Famous Sitcom Actor, Grian CuteGuy, are having a bit of troubled waters within their careers. The two of them have become old news and without their names in lights, they won’t have any shot at booking any more roles. Well, turns out the two of them have the same manager: Cub. And using his brilliance he decides to get the two together for a fake relationship! What better way to get the fans interested again and boost their careers!?
But, in the end, who will have the heart to tell them that this wasn’t meant to last forever?
“ "I am hot news.” Grian raises his heart shaped sunglasses smugly, resting them on his perfectly kept blonde hair.
“No, you’re cute news!” Scar blurts out.
"What?" Grian asks.
Scar rambles, trying to explain himself to Grian.
“Oh my Watchers above.” And Grian bursts out laughing, right there in front of the reporters. Scar is sure he hears at least twenty clicks of cameras go off, but he couldn’t care less. Because that sound, the sound of Grian’s laugh, is Scar’s new favorite sound. “

“I don't trust you.” He tries to make his voice sound strong, to hold the normal volume, instead it comes out as a near whisper, one he's not even sure Phil heard. Tears catch in his throat, his eyes stinging in want to burst out into vicious sobs, ones he knows he'll never let out.
“That's okay” Phil's voice is strong and kind, a tone Tommy didn't even know was possible until he came here, “hopefully one day you will, but until then ill do anything i can to become worthy of your trust.”
The strength behind his words, like it's not just a plan for the future but instead something set in stone. It lifts a weight off of his shoulders. It makes it easier to breathe for the first time in his life.
“Okay.” This too comes out as nothing but a whisper, but this time he finds he doesn't mind.

Tommy Inns doesn’t need a family. There isn't anymore to him than the loud annoying kid that can’t stay in a place longer than three months. He’s not secretly a softy, he's a big man who can take care of himself. All he needs to do is wait three more years and he can age out of the system.
