At Age 4 Laenor makes him his page so he can spend time with Jace and Luke. By Age 5 Gon swears a Valyrian Blood Oath to always protect his little brothers. Despite never seeing his face Jace and Luke trust and admire Gon viewing him as an older brother (not knowing he truly is their older brother). At age 7 Gon becomes Laenor's squire. From here the Story Unfolds how will things change?
