Alhaitham stepped forward and looked down a hallway to their right, one that disappeared behind three separate corners before vanishing from sight. He looked down a hallway to his left, where the room opened up into a larger space, but had a tall red hexagonal sign with the word ‘STOP’ written in white standing in the center. And just behind them, a large pile of random furniture stacked in a bizarre, clustered way. Even from their limited perspective, each direction seemed to branch and rebranch into an incomprehensible labyrinth. Yellow. It was yellow yellow yellow all around.
“I have no idea.”
Kaveh felt his stomach drop. That was perhaps the single most alarming answer Alhaitham could have given.

Summary
It's not the first time they've been becalmed, but it's the first due to a field of ice for as far as the eye can see. Excluding, of course, the snow and ice covered island a few leagues ahead of them. With the speed of Sanji's skywalking and his responsibility to keep the crew fed, it's only reasonable that he should be the one to go to the island to restock supplies.
Or: They sail in strange waters and encounter strange things. Sanji should have known better.

“Only one of these boys are leaving this room with you alive,” Shepherd says, moving the knife now to where he holds it in both hands. Suddenly the room shifts, and Ghost is starting to understand just what exactly that sinking feeling in his chest might mean.
“And you’re going to pick who it is.”
Ghost loses all ability to breathe.
He sees the initial shock run against Soap’s face, how paleness creeps through Price’s skin, the façade developing more than just a few cracks. A chisel was taken to it, and Ghost is already reeling at the thought of being forced, yet again, to live.
“Ah, there we go,” Shepherd grins, flicking his knife under his nails, nails that Ghost knows are always the first to go. “There’s how to hurt you.”
