Egg takes a breath. Then another. Carefully, he wipes the red off his sword until it’s a gleaming black again, then checks over the rest of his armour.
Clean. That’s good.
Raising a fist, he knocks lightly on the door of the final base. Last one in the three–hundred block radius around his and Wemmbu's base, after two days and fifteen hours, after seventy-ish bases destroyed, after zero leads found and not a single soul aware of where Wemmbu has been taken.

Wherein Egg is one of the strongest fighters in unstable and Wemmbu is the weird little freak he keeps around him at all times. He's harmless, trash at PvP, but also happens to be Egg's one weak spot.
(or, a role reversal au where the default egg-gets-kidnapped plot gets put on wemmbu instead)

Summary
Wemmbu stares at his hearts, realising that he only had half left. Before he could even tell Flame, the blaze-demon already stabbed him, taking it away.
The Blaze Demon didn't expect that and stepped away, Wemmbu just stared up at him, then fell limp, dead.
He wakes up, confused on why he wasn't dead, yet.
“ Wemmbu, bro, C'mon. We gotta go fishing. " Eggchan?
OR
Wemmbu dies in a duel against Flame and goes back in time, except.. the roles are reversed?!
