At five years old, Naruto finally had enough. The constant glares, the rocks thrown when no one was looking, the whispers that called him demon and monster, they all crashed down on him one rainy afternoon until something inside him cracked wide open. He ran until his legs burned, until the trees thinned and he stumbled upon the forgotten Anton Uzumaki Shrine buried deep in the forest. There, driven by rage and desperation, he forced the ancient seal to break. Dark, ancient chakra flooded his small body like liquid fire, rewriting the frightened child into something sharper and colder.
With the power now humming under his skin, Naruto made his choice. He would not beg Konoha for acceptance anymore. Power came first, real strength, the kind that made people fear instead of hate.
