Daniel had got permission from reverend mother Lisbeth to play outside. He had finally finished his homework and was dying to get some fresh air. He hesitated a bit before heading to the playground, hoping there wouldn’t be too many people. He wanted some peace and quiet.
Thankfully there was only one person in the playground. Sarah Lee was in one of the swings, trying to propel herself without success. Daniel was happy to find only her there. Of all the kids in that place, she was the nicest.

Like any other lively little girl, Petra loved going outside on nice weather days, but today was getting too hot. It was so boiling hot she was looking for a cooler place, since not even under the trees she was comfortable. She found a big hole on the hills near a forest close to the city, with a small ledge to rest and a little stream of water that fell down the pit. So she went down the hole carefully until she reached the ledge and enjoyed the cool atmosphere.
She stared down the cavity. Unbeknownst to her, it was connected to the underground city.

Then Petra appears from behind. She's wearing her civilian clothes, a beautiful green skirt and brown corset with a white blouse. She looks gorgeous. The wind caresses her light caramel hair. She's smiling with a happiness he has never seen on her.

The hound misses her, too. He glances at the hourglass, the sands falling idly. The glass bulb is nearly empty, the one below it almost full.
He wraps his arms around two of the hellhound’s heads and presses his forehead against the middle one, "I miss her, too. She'll be back soon."
