Summary
Princess Charlotte Morningstar has fallen in love with Vagatha, a low-born footsoldier. When Vagatha is sent to the front lines of a war raging between the Kingdom of the Morning Star and the Triad Kingdoms, Charlotte worries she'll never see her again. With Vagatha gone, Charlotte is left alone to deal with the bureaucracy and responsibility of being a princess, including entertaining an unwanted suitor, Lord Seviathan Von Eldritch.
Meanwhile, conditions within the Kingdom of the Morning Star are poor as disease, crime, and the effects of war plague the lower classes. When Charlotte befriends a servant by the name of Angel, she learns more about the strife of her subjects.
Drama and mystery abound as Charlotte works to better her kingdom, all while yearning for her love to return safely from the battlefield.

Vaggie was once one of these exorcists. Not just an exorcist, but a bigwing, leader of her sisters. Her purpose, thus, has always been simple: keep them safe. No matter what it costs her.
In practice however, it's not that simple.
