Summary
Ruffled, Naim stands taller. "What'd you mean 'a guy like me'?"
Those ice blue irises dip, lazily dragging down to the front of his converse before taking the same path back up again. When they meet Naim's eyes again, there is a glint in them that makes his stomach flip.
A smirk overtakes the blond's expression. "Dunno. That's what I'm curious about."
The night begins as just another party that Naim is being dragged along to. However, that changes the moment that Ryan Whelan notices him through the crowd.

Summary
They escaped.
That was supposed to be the hard part.
After fleeing the town that had taken everything from them, Ryan and Naim arrive in Melbourne with no plan, no certainty, and no idea what comes next. Ryan has a backpack and a destination. Naim has nothing but the clothes he ran away in and the guilt he carries for the role he played in bringing the nightmare to Ryan's doorstep.
In a city where no one knows their names, they have to learn how to survive without fear following their every step—and how to find forgiveness when the person they hurt is the only person they have left.
Because leaving was easy.
Learning how to live with what they carry is the hard part.Bookmarked by Zonate

Summary
Ryan calms down after a moment, though he's still grinning, rolling to lay on his back instead of his side, looking up at Naim. His hands are resting on his chest, like he's delicate, like he's not the strongest person Naim knows. Naim can't help but trace his knuckles along the side of Ryan's jaw. "How do you figure you'd like to...?" Ryan talks slowly, like he's testing the waters. "If we ever went all the way."
Naim looks up at the ceiling for a moment, knocking the back of his head against the wall behind them as he gathers his thoughts. He can feel Ryan moving to rub his lips against the side of Naim's finger, pressing a chaste kiss to the webbing between his thumb and index.
He allows his chin to fall back down, narrowing his eyes at Ryan. "I don't know. I didn't really think about it that hard. I thought more about--" he shrugs. "Other stuff."
Ryan tilts his head again so Naim's watching his profile, looking at the wall opposite them. "I'd want you inside me, prob'ly,"
