Imagine what it would be like for you, if someone you’ve never seen before, came up to you as you’re about to go home, and then they invited you over to their basement, rambling insanely about familiar sights and smells. Will’s trying to be polite, but you’re coming off as a total creeper.”

Will has amnesia and can't remember any of his friends. But, he does manage to recognize one face other than his mothers: the one that carried him to the hospital after his accident.

“So,” Will prompts, when Mike still doesn’t offer up any information on the mysterious stack of papers tucked under his arm. “Are you having a party?”
“Oh, no,” Mike says, sounding like it might be the first time ever in his life that he is genuinely disappointed about this fact. He shifts and grabs the stack of flyers, sort of waving them through the air. “These are just for this game I play?” The inflection on the end of what should be a statement makes it sound more like a hesitant question.
“And in this one, you act like you’re… vampires?”
Or: To get out of the sexual rut he’s stuck in, Popular!Will gets dared to ask out Nerd!Mike and ends up attending a Vampire the Masquerade LARP where they proceed to put the ‘role-play’ into ‘live action role-play.’

Summary
Will is biking to Mike's in the summer of '89, when he hears a familiar voice calling to him from the woods. When he finally sees the stranger's face, he realizes he isn't a stranger at all. Once he has him in Mike's basement, things get messy.

Anyways, the point is, Will thinks, that maybe his ghost roommate has escalated from small pranks and is actually now watching Will. Will supposes that's fine, but he does think that maybe it's a little perverted of the ghost to watch Will masturbate. Will trudges back into the house to wash his hands in the kitchen, crinkling his nose. He probably should be more upset about having a perverted ghost roommate, but sue him, he's lonely (and kind of horny).
Will dries his hands off on an old dish towel and resigns himself to spending the rest of the afternoon on the couch, lounging around and flipping through channels on the staticky box TV.
Maybe his perverted ghost roommate likes The X-Files too.
In which Will thinks that his house is haunted (and he's right).

"“Lucas talks about you all the time. He just forgot to mention that the pictures don't really do you justice.”
Will just laughed, shaking his head, trying to play it cool despite the sudden warmth in his cheeks. “Sure, Mike. I’m sure you tell every person in a five-mile radius whatever they want to hear to keep your guest list full.”
“You're definitely special,” Mike said without missing a beat, leaning his forearm against the counter next to Will, closing the distance between them. “But if you’re worried about my sample size, feel free to ask around. I don't usually look at anyone the way I'm looking at you right now.”
Will raised an eyebrow, letting out a soft huff. “Oh, please. I bet you have that exact script memorized for your pledges during orientation.”
“Ouch. Harsh,” Mike teased, a dimple flashing in his cheek. “I’ll have you know I’m completely improvising. You just happen to be very inspiring.”
“Is that your way of saying you’re out of practice?” Will shot back, a sharp, playful glint in his eye.
Mike let out a low chuckle, clearly loving the pushback. “Far from it."
AKA Mike is the President of PIKE and Will gets convinced to finally go to a frat party
