“Eve! Your receptionist is not breathing. Oh!” she says with excitement, “Is this a real murder? Look, Eve I found the murder weapon! It’s in her eyeball!” Villanelle is shouting now, possibly on purpose. Eve will never know to what extent the woman’s actions are for her own purposes or just specifically for torturing her.
