William ran. The city blurred around him. Skeletons of fallen skyscrapers, destroyed rubble of businesses, lifeless bodies – they were all around as he sprinted. His injured foot left a dotted trail of blood after him, each step becoming sharper than the last. The glass shards still embedded in the sole of his foot burned, grinding deeper with every strike of the pavement. He pushed past the pain anyways, even when he heard desperate pleas cried out behind him. It pulled at his heartstrings for some reason. This mark wasn’t his mark. He killed so many, including one of his classmates. So why do I feel so bad?

Summary
After stumbling across an advertisement for a school for specially gifted individuals, Namjoon's parents ship him off to Silverleaf Academy - a boarding school deep in the forest - with hopes that he'll be able to find a crowd on his advanced academic level.
Instead, he finds a school for monsters, most of which prey on humans outside of school grounds. Unsure how he managed to get there at all, he strives to make friendships. However, struggling in a crowd of creatures he knows nothing about, his efforts earn him far more than he can handle.
