Summary
The front door opens, and you freeze.
There’s the sound of keys hitting the entry table, the dull thud of sneakers being kicked off, and then footsteps.
You turn and lock eyes with Joshua's roommate, your roommate, you suppose. For a moment, neither of you speaks.
He’s taller than you expected. Broader, too. Fresh from the gym, apparently. His dark hair slightly damp, a gray tank top clinging just enough to highlight the lines of his chest, paired with low-sitting sweatpants. There’s a gym bag slung over one shoulder, his hand still loosely gripping the strap as his eyes land on you and stay there.
You’re suddenly very aware of your own outfit: jeans that hug your curves, your t-shirt slightly wrinkled and exposing a bit of your midriff.
“I'm-” you start, at the exact same time he says, “You’re-”
You both stop, and you chuckle lightly. Then, a little awkwardly, you try again.
“You must be Seungcheol.”
His grip on the gym bag tightens for a second before he nods, clearing his throat.
“Yeah. And you’re-”
“Joshua’s sister,” you finish, offering a small, polite smile, introducing yourself.

Summary
→ Summary: When your sister calls with an emergency, you drop everything to house-sit while she’s out of town. While sorting out his own issues, he keeps finding himself in situations where he has to save you—the fiery, stubborn little sister of his best friend’s fiancée who has a terrible habit of calling him the most obnoxious nicknames ever. Despite your resistance to being rescued (and his denial of how much you affect him), the sparks between you two continue to ignite. As you grow closer, it’s only a matter of time before everything goes up in flames.
