It hurt his head to think about what he was doing prior to… this, but he was fairly certain he’d gone to bed. Like any normal day. He’d returned from his routine shift at the Fatui headquarters and gone back to his studio apartment to sleep. Summary
Childe will remember the sting of Zhongli’s rejection well.
He will feel the remnants of it long after he has left Liyue - every time he glimpses at anything shaded gold, every time his mind wanders to the memory of a deep timbre of a voice and a soft, caring smile.
