Nico di Angelo survives a day of training younger campers, which is to say he narrowly escapes death by tween with a broadsword and collapses into bed immediately. He’s sore, bruised, and halfway to fusing with the mattress when Will Solace shows up, armed with a jar of herbal salve and the world’s most aggravatingly competent hands.
Will offers to heal him with magic. Nico, stubborn and ridiculous, says no. So Will settles for a massage just his hands, no powers, and somehow that’s worse. Or better. Depending on who’s asking.
