“Geralt! Didn’t expect you to come here. Is something the matter?” He can see the look of surprise in Jaskier’s face and the slight hint of tang in his smell, but he steps further into the room seeing how he quickly puts away the book he was reading on his bedside table.
“Just wanted to bring you a cup of tea” It was the only excuse he could find to go see Jaskier and he’s decided to stick with it till the end even if it might seem stupid. He sets the cup he's holding down near the book and inexplicably, even to him, he crosses the room and sits in the empty space on the left side of the bed against the headboard.
Or
Geralt can't hold it in anymore, he needs to feel close to Jaskier again. Even if it means a kiss, or two.
