When Avery starts reading books and annotating them in the Hawthorne library, a mystery writer responds back to her.
A slow-burn story.
An alternate ending where Avery ends up with neither of the boys at the end of The Final Gambit. In this universe, Avery says she's not ready for a boyfriend and wants to focus on managing her newfound fame. Jameson, the one who really pursued her, decides to back off and move on and be Avery's friend.
Grayson hasn't even considered that he'd be an option and acts how he has been acting the entire series. He respects Avery from a distance and they are friends.

At the end of Season 3, after Sydney's panic attack, Luca comforts her briefly after the party.
Sydney considers leaving the restaurant to work with Shapiro and and Carmy freaks out. It was for Sydney, winning the star. Fine, he can do it himself without her. This time it's just out of spite, which is as good a reason as any.
Meanwhile, Sydney navigates her complicated emotions around The Bear and her new, growing connection while struggling to let go of the one who let her down.
I'm also not 100% on the ship here. I like Syd/Luca as well. Mostly, I'm interested in seeing what happens.

Grayson thinks about Avery Kylie Grambs as he heads to the football game in The Hawthrone Legacy. He shoves down his feelings, per usual. Grayson is one of my favorite characters so far, so I figured I'd dive into his point of view.
ONE-SHOT- but I keep making more.
EDIT: I am adding more scenes because I cannot get out of Grayson's head. Some will include Avery thinking of Grayson. Hard to keep away from those two and the new book makes me want to write them again, in whatever capacity comes to my head from any of the books.
