There was high-pitched chatter followed by Hongjoong’s low response. San tried to peek at the scene from his crouch but found it hard to decipher through the fence while the other team members remained uninterested.
Finally, at the intersection of the hatching, peering right through the grate, he caught sight of him. He wore his uniform like it was Louis Vuitton and strutted like he was on a runway, wearing a wicked smile so effortlessly wide and magnetic. San almost pinched himself when he saw the short, dangly earring crowning him queen of the diamond.
The regnant’s face moved like a pond teeming with koi, bright and busy. In a second, there was a smile, a frown, a flip of the hair. Inferring, San figured he would be affronted at seeing his 3-in-1 shower routine based on how refined he looked even with grass stains on his calves.
