Summary
Admiral Firmus Piett was well aware of his superiors obsession with Luke Skywalker. What he did not see coming was Vaders treatment of the rebel now that he had finally caught him.
There had to be a reason for Vader’s liking in the rebel, Piett was sure it was something more than just the blond’s charism and his undebatable good looks.
He hoped it was just some force thing and that the Sithlord had not officially lost his mind.

Summary
One-shots surrounding either AU situations of canon/legends works where Luke would normally have gotten away (or Vader is simply inserted into the action to come pick his child up) but in these instances doesn't, or completely new scenarios of the same. Any time an AU is mentioned to be based on a comics issue it's from the new Marvel Star Wars comics (2015) (unless otherwise noted).
There are no deep ruminations on consequences of the situations here, just our awful Sith dad picking his son up when he'd rather not be.

Voldemort paused. Then, he reached out and placed a finger under Severus’ chin, tilting his head up with gentle pressure until their gazes met.
"I need an heir," said Voldemort.
With Potter dead and victory at hand, Voldemort turns his attention to his new goal: securing his empire and continuing his line.
And who better to bear his heir than Severus, his most loyal, most favoured servant?
