Summary
Months before the android revolution comes to a tipping point, an intimacy model is delivered to Hank Anderson's house. Hank doesn't remember placing the order while he was drunk, but after he reluctantly activates the android, Connor slowly puts Hank's home and his life back together. He makes everything better.
But the deviancy crisis is growing, and the android revolution along with it. Hank doesn't know how to protect Connor from what's happening in the world around them, but Connor doesn't know how to protect him, either.

Summary
Connor nods at Hank’s drink anyway, almost empty, and says, “Can I get you another?”
“Oh,” Hank says. “You don’t have to...”
Connor blinks at him - he’s sort of intense, actually, Hank thinks, especially for someone with such good puppy dog eyes. “Were you going to get yourself another one?”
“I mean...yeah, probably.”
“Then let me,” Connor says, and Hank must be gaping at him in complete confusion, because Connor shrugs and leans in closer to him. “I think you’re hot,” he says, like they’re sharing a secret, “in case that wasn’t obvious.”

In 2036, while Hank is in Chicago on business, he meets Connor for the first time, and he can't stop thinking about him after. There's a magnetism between them that keeps pulling them back together, and it's easy to fall in love with him.
But Connor has secrets, and Hank has a few of his own, too.

Hank and Connor will need to pose as newlyweds, Connor exchanging the ring of his LED for a wedding ring. This means sharing a bed, dancing cheek-to-cheek, and public displays of affection to keep up the charade.
