Tiw não o responde, olhando de maneira indecifrável. E Por só não sente o pânico rastejando sobre o peito porque no segundo seguinte Tiw segura sua mão e o leva até o próprio peito, bem acima do coração, fazendo Por sentir o batimento cardíaco descontrolado do outro garoto.
"Não acho que seja por causa do tédio" Tiw sussurra de volta.

"Aonung," his father said, looking at his son with a faraway look, as if the oloeyktan was recalling a fond memory. "When the time comes, you will find the fire in someone's eyes so beautiful, that you will be willing to burn - just to see them glow," his father said, not making sense at all.
A few years later, it shocked the metkayina boy greatly when the first thought he had, as he looked into a stern pair of eyes, was of how breathtaking the shade of gold that he could find there, along with the fire softly crackling behind them.
All he could think about was how he was an idiot.
An idiot for not asking his father what he should do if he ever found someone that he was willing to burn for.

Summary
There was a wide-eyed gaze of amazement and wonder in Neteyam's big eyes, big like his mother's, as he tried to catch the bubbles. Jake couldn't help his soft chuckle at the disgruntled little blink and nose scrunch Neteyam would do whenever the bubbles popped on his fingers.
A sweet beaming smile framed his chubby little face, bunny teeth on display. He squeaked happily every time the pilot blew more bubbles, perfectly content to play on his own.
And in that moment, Jake couldn't help being reminded of his mate. When they'd first met, she was all adorable and feisty— scary, yes, but in a way he couldn't help being mesmerized by. He remembered her pretty face lighting up as the atokirina floated around them in the forest. Her awed giggles as she'd hopped and tried to catch one was a precious sound he held near.
Neteyam looked exactly like her, standing barely ten feet away from him, and Jake somehow felt like he was falling in love all over again.

Hyunjin is no stranger to attention in clubs and bars. Some buy him drinks, some ask for a dance. But this—
“Please, marry me. Or I can… hip… I can be whatever you want me to be,” the guy says, looking up from his place at Hyunjin's feet. “And I can, like… hip… get a job and buy you things forever. Hip. A house.”
“Jesus, Jeongin. Is this really how you plan on wooing him?” His friend sighs, still trying to pull him back up by the neck of his shirt. He simply won't budge, no matter how hard he tugs. “By telling him you're unemployed?”
“And clearly desperate,” Jeongin's other friend adds, swirling the straw in his cocktail without offering any help.
Jeongin bats the hands that have been pestering him out of the way, peeling his eyes off of Hyunjin to stare at the other two men with a drunken frown. “I told you I… hip… have an interview this week.”

Drunk Jeongin drops to his knees and begs Hyunjin to marry him. To the surprise of everybody, it works like a charm.
