Summary
This story is my own, I use the characters from The Last of Us please DO NOT STEAL. :D
Ellie finally returns from Santa Barbara after 2 - 3 months have gone by.
The whole place looked vacant, besides Ellie’s room where she some of joel’s stuff and her’s.
Her vision slightly becoming hazy each and every step she took, the blood beginning to soak into her jeans.
“Come on, I can’t give up. I won’t” – Her body started to decide anyways, causing her to nearly lose her balance.
Getting up to the porch was more difficult than she thought.
“One more step to go, then im almost inside”
This story is a continuation after The Last of us Part II, with some minor tweaks.

Summary
The sight of Abby makes her sick, and she is ready to bolt. At the same time, it’s not the anger and rage she had felt for the past three years. It’s just anguish. It’s just Joel’s face flashing behind her eyes. His old, wrinkly face pulled in a smirk. Half of his face is gone as he lies dead on a concrete floor, and Ellie tries to wake him up like he’s not missing half of his brain. She’s just tired.
The girl stares at her like she’s unsure of what she sees. Then, something wakes up in her as she scrambles to her feet and grabs a handgun from her pants.
“Fucking hell, I’m not going to fucking kill you,” Ellie mutters, observing how Abby hesitates whether to raise the gun or not. “I just saved you,” she adds.
“You didn’t know you were saving me .” The voice takes her back to Seattle. No. No. She can’t think about that. It’s in the past. It already happened.
“I knew.”
or Ellie and Abby's paths cross again after Santa Barbara as they are trying to live and move on from the horrors they inflicted on each other.

Summary
The Fireflies were still somewhere in California, so close she could almost see their symbol spray painted on a wall. It was burnt in some deep part of her mind since the first time she had seen it as a child.
“I'll be there… to watch your back” Ellie imperceptibly bit her lower lip and Abby noticed. Her heart skipped a beat — albeit she wanted to ignore it she couldn't for some reason. She stopped wondering what could be going through Ellie's mind and instead replied with a simple “I know”
Abby hasn't given up on finding the Fireflies and Ellie has nothing left but the will to make a vaccine real.
