"What like a vamp— wait are you a vampire?" Steve asked, and please forgive him if there was a hint of humor in his tone. He just found it hilarious. Seeing as he thought Vecna was a vampire, and here Eddie is, quite literally a vampire.

Just as promised, Steve busied himself with setting up one of the spare bedrooms, close to his own. Not for protective purposes, but in the off chance Eddie needs something he doesn't have to walk across the entire house just to ask Steve. How many pillows would Eddie needs? Blankets? Jesus he was over thinking this. This was just one guy providing sanctuary to his other friend who had died in an alternate universe where everything is hostile, somehow survived, and then clawed his way back to the right universe.
Totally normal.
