“The only ex you care about is dating your favorite person from high school!” Shauna exclaims, the tips of her ears are hot, and she hangs up before having to explain herself further.
She sends the video to Taissa, with an address to a local café, then screams into a dirty throw pillow from the teacher’s lounge at Wiskayok High School.
On the other side of the line, Taissa rolls over her own couch. She was just resting her eyes in her pristine law firm before getting rudely interrupted. So, she can only squint at the video, recognizing…everything Shauna could get annoyed at, and re-sends it to the number she knows by heart, even though she purposefully never saved it.
Takes half an hour before she gets the reply to her long line of question marks, and the text reads as follows:
