    First written in, gods, 2006, as a dare to myself, to write a slash relationship I haven't thought possible. Little did I know that the much beloved men in question would have other ideas about what's possible and what's not. This is the first part of a trilogy, the second part of which I consider to be my best work to date, and the third part of which is still unfinished. Can stand alone, though.

    Summary: Yavin IV is too big a place for two lonely being who started the night looking for solitude and ended up sitting at the same fire to be anything but a coincidence.

    “Because…this is date night?” Din can’t hide his hesitation, and Luke laughs, moving over and placing a kiss on Mara’s temple. Both of them look about ready to sleep rather than go out right now, dressed in neutral tones and lounge wear.

    “Kind of.” Luke shrugs and approaches him, carefully reaching near his chin to activate the release on his helmet. Din lowers his head to make it easier, smells vanilla and linen when the air hits him without any filter. He tries to make his hair a little neater while Luke places it aside. “We knew you’d be stressed, so we figured we could help you relax.”

    Din can feel his heartbeat rabbiting. “…Relax?”

    “By, well, how would you put it, dear?”

    “Don’t be crass.” Mara pushes off the wall, coming close and ruffling Din’s hair, undoing all of his previous work. “We mean we want to fuck you.”
