Quackity whimpered at the raw concern in his voice. “I wasted the potion,” he muttered in lieu of a response.
“Fuck the potion,” said Wilbur, and Quackity flinched. “Are you alright? You fell really hard.”
He hesitantly lifted his hand, palm up so Wilbur could see it, and the man sucked in a sharp breath. “It’s not that bad…”
“There’s a fucking chunk of glass stuck through your hand, Quackity.”
Quackity accidentally breaks a glass bottle in Manberg. Three weeks later, he breaks another in Pogtopia. The experiences couldn’t be more different.

Wilbur exhaled slowly, watching the grey smoke spread in rivulets around him. By now most people would give up, exasperated, and some even scared. He tended to have that effect.

ISO: Carer to look after my father for 8 weeks this summer.
Dad is 71, early stage Parkinson’s disease, broke his hip 6 weeks ago. No signs of cognitive decline; mostly needs help with household tasks (cooking, light cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping), getting dressed, showering, changing cat litter/general cat care, getting to and from appointments.
Please know what you are getting into; Dad is physically more or less in good health but awful at accepting his limitations, unnecessarily mean, generally uncooperative, and largely nocturnal. Imagine yourself caring for a feral raccoon that is convinced it’s going to write another book, then subtract everything that is cute about raccoons.
$20/hour, roughly 4 hours a day. Must be able to pass a background check and lift 50 lbs. Patience of a saint not required but preferred.- Language:
