Summary
Tighnari snickers. “Sorry, sorry.” He reaches out and runs a hand through Cyno’s hair, cooing, “You’re a very good boy, too. Better?”
What he’s expecting is Cyno to pull away with a huff, rolling his eyes. What he gets, though, is much more interesting.
Cyno’s breath hitches, his eyes widening a fraction, and it’s as if he’s stuck looking at Tighnari, confused, before he snaps himself out of it and pulls away. Can’t quite look Tighnari in the eye as he responds with, “That isn’t necessary,” a beat too late and voice wavering a little too much at its edges.
Tighnari cocks his head to the side, gaze sharpening. Oh. Interesting.
Now this bears further examination.

Summary
Remus Lupin is a disillusioned werewolf who has mostly turned his back on the Wizarding society, content to work his mundane muggle job. That is until his best friend convinces him to join an exclusive study on the Wolfsbane potion at the well-renowned centre outside of Edinburgh.
Sirius Black is wizarding royalty, or at least he was until he walked away from his pureblood family to follow his own path in life. After travelling the world and pursuing a career in Magizoology he now finds himself working at one of the highest-ranked centres for magical creatures in the Wizarding world.
Their first meeting makes sparks of disdain crackle between them and it seems unlikely that anything, not even the old magic of Edinburgh, will be enough to bridge over the reality of who they are and where they come from.
