If there was justice in the world, de-facto skipping through time via his own genetic material would be the wacky part of his existence. He did everything that was asked of him and went to his death like a good wind-up toy. You’d think that would have been enough to buy him a nice, peaceful afterlife. A worm would have been nice. A nice, fat worm, chomping his way through a leaf. Yeah.
Instead, he got wings, claws, a traumatised magical cop and easily the scariest kid he’s ever laid eyes on.
