Convex Serial Killer AU (+ multiple ships)
Scar believed he was unlucky. For one whole decade, he was having a hard time making it big as an author. Although his storytelling was great, no one was interested in cookie cutter fantasy stories these days.
That was until that day, when the now presently cold case was also Scar's greatest inspiration. His motivation for starting true crime stories.
He wasn't knowledgeable on murder, of course. But he believes that all the bad luck he accumulated in the past has now come as a blessing to Scar in a form of a person; his new roommate, Cub! Who is... suspiciously way too knowledgeable on murder crimes.

A club full of drunk University students, who could do something dangerous at any second? Yeah, no, not exactly Impulse's idea of a good time.
Loud, bass-boosted music boomed from huge speakers in all four corners of the room, alcohol was the only drink being served at any of the bars (where Impulse, when dragged into these parties, usually hides away and tries to start a conversation with the bartender), and Impulse was stuck here, in the same room as Bdubs.

The dog hybrid would be striped, and strapped down to a cold mettle table, the muzzle they kept over his mouth, biting into his face from the position.
Silent tears would slide down his face as they poked and prodded him.
He tried to defend himself. He bit one of the scientists, that's how he ended up with the muzzle.
When they would strap him to the table, they would take his blood from him.
The needles hurt.
The lights hurt.
The muzzle made his face ached.
