Summary

He didn't expect to get stymied before he even got in the doors by an unexpected layer of security. Already planning just how many security guys he's going to have to go through to make his escape, he's just as surprised as everyone else when the gorgeous young man sent out to confirm his invite let's him through... as his date!
Suddenly Jason has just a single night to convincingly fake a relationship, complete his mission, reconnect with someone from his past whom he was never able to leave behind, uncover the sinister goings-on behind the scenes of a charity school, dodge both Batman and Nightwing as they stalk him through the ballroom, try to save a bunch of kids from a horrible fate, make up for a mistake he'd never even known he'd made and somehow, someway, try to rescue the last good bit of his childhood that he remembers from the forces trying to control him and maybe also from himself as well.

Summary
