Summary
Blue Lock has turned into a high school or academy for soccer and education. Parents complained that their children were missing out on a proper education. The government asked Blue Lock to either run a summer academy or provide education to the kids there. Ego did not want to shut down Blue Lock. He asked Anri to find the best teachers from all over the world just so they could continue running the academy. They opened this "academy" to calm the parents and to keep a greedy businessman from harming Blue Lock as revenge for Blue Lock 11 ruining his Japan football team.
Now all the players have to survive based on their grades and their soccer performances, though the weightage for their performance is higher than their grades.
(Kaiser, Ness, and Charles must attend these classes because they have not graduated from their academies in their home countries. Sae will be mentioned in chats, but he will not attend the Blue Lock Academy, though he will visit at times and will be present throughout the story.)
