On the phone were two people, one of which she was incredibly familiar with. Professor Anthony Crowley sat comfortably upon a bench in a park she did not recognise, lent back in that lazed pose she recognised from his lectures where he appeared incapable of sitting on a chair properly. He was easy to identify with his orange hair and lanky frame, who wasn’t easy to identify, was the person beside him.

Anathema has been taking Professor Anthony J. Crowley's class on astrophysics for two years now, and never once has she seen that man love anything that wasn't his car or the obscene amount of plants he had stashed in his office... so who was this blonde with rosy cheeks and a smile that was too kind for anyone to look away from?

It was the barest hint of acceptance, the slightest trace of fondness in bright hazel eyes, an expression that Megumi would have missed had he blinked for even a second.
“He’s scrawny. Looks like he’d lose a fight against a gust of wind.”
The casual insult was the last thing Megumi would have expected as a response, though he supposed it was better than being called a slur.
