Emma might not have the most functioning lungs, and she may be trapped in her hospital bed for an indefinite amount of time, but she's fine. Really. She has everything she could possibly need—Cristina visits as often as she can, there's a TV to watch old cartoons on, and her childhood stuffed bear, "Beary Potter," comforts her when she's alone.
There's also a new nurse, who has an annoyingly bright smile and wakes Emma up at ungodly hours. He maybe sneaks her extra chocolate pudding when he can, which is an unforeseen but much appreciated upside. The side effect: Emma really wants to fight him, but he just won't let her.

This is a Dark Era Canon Divergent story taken place immediately after Oda's sacrifice with Mimic. Mori murders Chuuya for the pair attempting to betray and run away from the Mafia. This event opens the story with Dazai doing all he can to save Chuuya-- it's somehow successful. The secrets behind Dazai's gifts are unfolding to slow the two down and where revenge was the central focus of this mission, it's shifting gears to understand the true power of Dazai. Fear is something both rarely allow to hinder their work, but coming revelations may change that when they are forced to understand one fact.
Dazai can bring people back to life. But life isn't exactly what it is.
