Summary
Abigail Brooks is an accountant for a supermarket chain who occasionally visits abandoned buildings for a mild thrill; her life is mostly uneventful, until she starts experiencing worrisome health problems, all curiously unexplained. As Abigail tries to find the source of the problem, she receives a letter in the mail detailing a class action lawsuit against a company she's never heard of... at least, not this version of her.
Pomni and the denizens of the digital circus are quietly resigned to a stagnant but fulfilling life. Everyone seems happy enough, but events far beyond their control soon change everything... and a surprise visit brings disturbing new information that has both the occupants of the circus - and their real world counterparts - fighting for each other and anyone else who might fall victim to the hands in the dark, silently pulling the strings.

Or...” Felix paused to squint his eyes mischievously as he smirked, and they glowed like topaz in the afternoon sun. “You can ride along with me tomorrow morning, which would be insane; definitely not the safe, predictable decision.”
Christine is lulled into the sense of security a routine life provides after her escape from the circus, but aches for who she used to be. Felix is only comfortable in chaos, and might not consider it the worst thing in the world if he were to go out with a bang.

Pomni and Jax are together now. So are Zooble and Gangle. It's nice, comfortable.
Nothing else is.
The circus still sucks. Everyone still kinda doesn't like each other as much as they'd want to, or claim to. Ragatha is jealous and lonely and Kinger, in spite of himself, just wants everyone to learn. Learn what? He can't remember.
Meanwhile, Caine is stuck dealing with a decidedly human problem he could not even begin to understand.
Perhaps, deep down, all you can do is keep going. Keep growing.

As a single mother, she is forced to endure a digital pregnancy she never asked for, one that eats away at her sanity under the weight of "digital hormones."Across the street, Jax lives his own private nightmare: trapped as the model husband to an obsessive NPC wife, he is suffocated by the illusion of a perfect life. Desperate for refuge, he finds in Pomni's dark, silent house the only place where Caine's script seems to fail.

Caine has opted for another suggestion box adventure, sending the group to a Japanese-themed town, complete with karaoke bars, convenience stores, tea shops and an onsen to visit at the end of the day. Pomni and Jax split off from the group to enjoy the adventure in their own way, and chaos, goofs and eventual horniness ensues.
