Summary
"I can’t scrub all the blood from my hands just cause it doesn’t exist anymore.”
Tojo swallows, saying nothing, only listening.
“It’s still there.” She stares down at her hands. They’re clean. “I can’t get rid of it. That’s all I’ve ever known.”
“Harukawa…?”
“What do we do?” Her voice shakes, but barely. It’s a child on a play structure, grappling for balance. “What do we do now, Tojo?”
The other girl blinks, and the whites of her eyes are shiny, as if covered with a windowpane. “I don’t know,” she says, returning Maki’s own words to her in a different voice. “I’m not sure.”
—
Her wrist hovers over Tojo’s outstretched hand, who doesn’t take it without mutual agreement. She waits. She listens. She is patience personified, and Maki is made of delicate dynamite.
You are too kind, she wants to say. (She doesn’t.) You are too soft to be real. (She doesn’t know how.) You cannot be real. (She wants her to be.)
———
Kirumi is warm and soft and kind.
Maki is not. She is heavy with sins that never existed.

“Just fucking choose.” Iwaizumi was trying to control his voice but it was getting harder every passing moment. Especially when his best friend was being extremely difficult.
“Hmn… how about cuddling with hundreds of kittens?” Oikawa mused pursing his dry lips.

Summary
The first time Kenma saw him, he was weeping.
Not the silent heaving of his shoulders. No, it was quite the opposite.
It was the raucous and desperate cry of a man in despair. The very sound sent shivers down his spine and the little hairs on his arms to raise.

Summary
Today, Yaku was on the most crowded train in his life. The first day of school, to a university that was an entire town away. Normally the train pissed him off, but he created a new playlist that would work for his morning rides.
Too trapped too enamored by the words that poured across the screen, he was barely aware of the people around him. Unless someone bumped into him. On the outside, he was the perfect gentleman. Smiling, and apologizing for his lack of attention, but on the inside, he cursed everyone who was holy about the searing pain that shot up his leg when the passenger beside him stepped on his foot from the unstable movement of the train.
