To kill Zhuo Qing, Su Muyu uses the forbidden technique Seven Slaughters, Six Annihilations. But Baihe Huai has already suffered the backlash of the poison and been taken away to Su Yunxiu for treatment. There is no one left who can save him now. No one who can drag him back. His descent into demonic madness can no longer be reversed.
Su Changhe cannot bring himself to kill him, so he does the only thing left - he ties Su Muyu up and locks him inside their room, choosing to guard him even if it means being dragged into that madness too. If the curse takes Muyu, then it will take them both.
