While hospitalized in a hospital in Egypt, Kakyoin Noriaki, young and terrified of death, confesses his feelings to Jotaro—too sure that Jotaro would reciprocate the same feelings, perhaps a little too sure.
Jotaro doesn’t even look at him as he walks out of the hospital room.
Kakyoin is killed soon after.Decades later, Jotaro is 41 years old, freshly divorced and his daughter says she hates him. Not to mention it’s a day past Kakyoin’s 23rd death anniversary. He intends to go this time. But it’s also the day of Jolyne’s graduation party.
