    Summary

It’s a Sunday afternoon and Akechi Goro is in his shitty apartment, sprawled on his couch, when he makes a horrible discovery.

A re-run of Featherman is playing on his thrifted TV. Mid ad-break, he turns on his phone and sees a very familiar app, sitting there on the home page innocently as though last time it had appeared out of nowhere it hadn’t ruined Goro’s life. He had been sipping on disgusting instant coffee, which he spills all over his pants from the shock.

    Not because he’s clumsy, obviously.

His right eye twitches. He opens the app, and reads the words: Amamiya Ren, Tokyo, Shrine.

    Summary

In theory, everyone on earth is supposed to have a soulmate. Someone who is perfect for them in every way. A storybook romance, or a best friend you can always confide in. Fate is supposed to pull them together at the right moment. Real life is never as easy as the stories though, and Fate has always had a way of fucking with vigilantes.

Danny always wanted a soulmate. At least he did before he died, now his life (afterlife?) is just starting to get manageable. He’s settled into his new role, doing what he can for both the ghost and human world and is looking forward to a quiet (if excruciatingly boring) summer vacation when his life is literally turned upside down and he is forced to confront parts of his past that he’d rather remained buried.

Damian has been resigned to the idea that he will have to protect his soulmate since he was a child. A soulmate is a weakness that others might choose to exploit. Nothing could have prepared him for the reality that is his perfect match. Perhaps he should have listened when his mother said his soulmate would have to be anything besides ordinary to compliment him.

    Summary

Akechi Goro wakes up having been flung from the diet building, inexplicably alive. The last thing he remembers is closing the partition between himself and the Phantom Thieves to face his cognitive self alone. By all means, he should be dead. As he leaves the area, he comes across someone he never expected to be slumped against a light pole covered in bruises, but this night is filled with mysteries, including but not limited to why Ryuji is happier to see that Akechi is alive than Akechi himself feels to be alive.

    Summary

Elimination games are all the rage these days, and with the declaration of Total Drama and its theme, the show stretches the limits of what it means to be brazen, and impatient viewers wonder if this is as good as it gets. Twenty-two young adults are cherry-picked for their talents to compete against each other in this new, outlandish take on elimination games. What beats a cast of gifted and proficient individuals, putting their prowess to the test on an island in the middle of nowhere? Is this the limit?

What if the limits aren't even close to being stretched to their fullest? What if Total Drama is only scratching the surface of the plethora of feats that could be accomplished? What if these alleged "limits" could be stretched so inexplicably far, that your concept of reality blurs and you start questioning if what's happening is even real?

Of course, reality starts to look odd when you find yourself in a real-life death game. It's easy to forget there are corrupt and vile people out there who are capable of amplifying the limits of a little playful vulgarity to unfathomable levels of anarchy.

So, what if, there was an elimination game where you were eliminated from life itself?
