They walked for what felt like an eternity. The soles of her feet were sore when she finally heard hushed voices down the corridor. At the sounds of her guards’ approach, they quieted. A door creaked open; it was wooden. She could tell by the sound of it scratching on the stone floor.
An odd assortment of smells assaulted her nose. Blood. Fire. Smoke. Wax.
“Don't tell me this is your sex dungeon."
Another smack. That one felt deserved. Someone that wasn't one of her guards stifled a giggle with a snort.
Or a Selûnite Tav meets Shadowheart when there are no tadpoles involved. No illithids, no Grand Design. Just Tav and Shady being idiots. Chaos ensues. Rating is to be on the safe side. Each chapter will be tagged if there is anything worth tagging (torture, smut, etc). Will probably add tags as story progresses.

Summary
Shadowheart wasn’t afraid of a little pleasure of the flesh, despite the displeasure of her Lady of Loss. Sometimes she just wants someone to fill the hollow space in her chest, and she finds it in Vel, even if just for a night.
But when she discovers Vel is loyal to Selûne, the sister and rival of Shar, a tide is set in motion that she is helpless to stop. Her hatred breeds an obsession, and that obsession causes them to make a careless mistake.
She finds herself more entangled than she ever wanted to be with the Selûnite, and she insists nothing will come of it. Nothing can come of it.
Love has no place between light and dark.
