Caitlyn fell silent, settling in for the wait as Vi gleefully got her digs in. The Zaunite was traipsing into dangerous territory, all but gambolling about in her crosshairs. She seemed terribly pleased with herself–far too pleased with herself.

As Vi rubs a dry towel too harshly over her face, she mumbles into it the same thing she said before. “I didn’t know I could do that.”
Cait’s chest is warm again for a new reason, and then all of her is warm. Vi is still gripping the towel, so Cait tries to counteract her tension with a soft kiss to her forehead. “You can do it again,” she whispers against Vi’s skin. “If you’d like to.” Vi’s breathing catches, and Cait thinks she feels a slight nod. Maybe.
