Summary
If you asked Izuku Midoriya if Valentine’s Day was an important holiday to him, you’d get a painfully diplomatic answer, stuttered all the way through.
It’s not because he wants to be a downer or an anti-romantic; romance to Izuku is simply not a priority. If he were to be in love, which he definitely thinks he could be one day, romance would be a quotidian little thing, settling itself over ‘good morning’s and ‘let’s eat together’s like a layer of dust on family heirlooms.

The door slides shut, his expensive, immaculately crafted (now slightly splintered at the lock) door closing with not much more than a soft click. Still wriggling against his chest, Kousuke grabs at Katsuki’s t-shirt collar and yanks clumsily.
”Just us, I guess,” Katsuki says for the baby’s benefit. He used to find it stupid, talking to the baby as if it’d understand a lick of the conversation, but watching everyone baby-talking, goo-goo-ga-ga-ing the baby made him a little more sympathetic.
Babies were dumb, but they didn’t deserve that.

Katsuki’s Saturday morning plans are interrupted when Izuku drops a chubby, drooling, formula-guzzling parcel in his lap. Or, Katsuki joins the babysitter’s club.

And boy, what a reaction did it get. Sasuke flinched as if someone had pinched him before angrily squinting at Kakashi. He slammed his hand down on the desk. "Relationship? What kind of relationship?" Sasuke wasn't sure why but his entire body was now running hot, an unnameable feeling starting in his chest.
OR
Sasuke comes back to Konoha after a prolonged absence, only to find things are NOT how he left them. Why is Naruto dodging him? Why is he hanging out with Gaara of all people? And why did it make him feel so weird?

There’s no probably about it, no matter how much he wishes there were. He loves Katsuki, and the tragedy is that Katsuki, who has never — and probably will never — love him back, is Izuku’s soulmate.

Kacchan slides a very familiar letter across the table to him and asks, “What the fuck is this?”
Izuku really feels like he’s about to explode.
Because that letter is possibly the culmination of the biggest feelings he’s ever had: love, and all of it for Kacchan.
Izuku wrote it at thirteen. When he knew that his best friend since diapers would never return the feelings, but Izuku felt like they were so heavy they needed to be shared.
He wrote the letter, poured his aching, crushing tween heart out onto two and a half pages of college ruled notebook paper, and addressed it in his best calligraphy. To: Kacchan. Izuku remembers his thirteen year old self debating before adding on a little explosion sticker.
Now, at seventeen, he’s debating the pros and cons of jumping out of the nearest window.
OR: Izuku writes Katsuki a love letter. 4 years later, Katsuki receives it. Izuku is still very much in love with him, and Katsuki is very much not.

Izuku Midoriya is elated to be the lyricist for one of the coolest new bands of the century, really he is!
But it would've been... a lot more enjoyable if the hotheaded lead singer didn't glare at him so harshly every time they work together! This is going to be a very difficult partnership indeed.
