“Kim Dohoon, if you fucking brought a goddamn Omega over for your rut,” Youngjae yells again, “I swear to fucking god, I’m going to kill you.” He’s prepared for the door to swing open at any moment, for a smug Dohoon to tell him to fuck off and get out so he can finish his business, to retreat to his friend’s apartment to stay over for yet another night.
But then, the sound changes.

In a few short months, Youngjae and Dohoon will head off to their respective universities in California, and probably move on to find new best friends, and Jihoon (and Hanjin) will inevitably be left behind in the cold miserable Northeast to suffer through senior year. And as he watches Youngjae smile at him again, as Dohoon starts to cheer that “we’re finally fucking free!”, Jihoon can’t help but let out a quiet sigh.
Because a guy like Youngjae Choi could never, ever look at him and see anything more than just a younger friend. Right?
