Atsumu stares as he takes it out, painfully slowly, before unwrapping the object and plopping it on top of his curls. Two tufts of fabric stick out on either side of his head. He brings out both of his hands in front of his chest, face contorted like he’d rather die than be there in that moment, and lets out a remarkably deadpan meow.
Atsumu, for once in his goddamn life, is shocked into silence.
“I’m a cat,” the stranger offers with no inflection in his tone. Atsumu blinks before bursting into laughter.
