Summary
It has been five years since Feyd-Rautha last saw his wife swell with his child.
It is entirely by her design, and certainly not for lack of trying. He ravages her senseless almost every night, but after five children, the ever infuriating Diana Atreides refuses to give him another. As a Bene Gesserit, it is within her power to do so; the witches are able to bend their own reproduction to their will, and Feyd-Rautha believes she likes his methods of convincing her too much to give him what he wants.

Realistically it is no different from his. All of the bedrooms in the orphanage are nothing more than glorified closets, with the barest of essentials and blank, yellowing wallpaper.
But on the mornings when Robin can get away with crawling into her small bed and tucking himself into her side, he always greets the elements of her world like old friends - the elastic on her nightstand a few more ponytails away from snapping, the apron dappled with baking flour draped over her desk chair, scuffed shoes left haphazardly near the door. All of it evidence of something he can't seem to recreate in his own room no matter how hard he tries, something he admittedly has no conscious memory of - only a vague feeling of home."
