Summary
Stars glittered in front of his eyes. The rush and thud of his heart was overwhelming, thrumming in a way that he had never felt before. Fighting Majima was unlike any other fight he’d ever been in. And Saejima had fought a lot. Unlike the men that challenged him, there was no fear or disgust in Majima’s eyes, no trepidation or doubt. Just the pure excitement of someone who had found an equal.

Summary
Majima looked like he hadn’t eaten properly in months, if at all. The dark rings around his eyes were even deeper, darker – wait. Only one? The other was a mess of thick, raised scar tissue, jagged and red. It was a wound that had come violently, and definitely not been treated properly.
They made eye contact. The world fell away.
“Kyoudai,” Majima rasped, and then Saejima’s fist connected with his jaw, sending him tumbling back.

Summary
His heartbeat was growing deafening in his ear. Breakfast was over. Any minute now.
The subtle grief on Saejima’s stony face was breaking his heart.
Ignoring the risk, Majima reached out, pulling him into one last, desperate kiss. A crazy part of his brain told him that if he simply assaulted the guard, then he could stay another year or so, never leave this comfortable, safe space. It was a tempting offer, almost impossible to ignore with Saejima’s fingers in his hair. But he had a job to do, a goal to reach, and staying here would ruin that. With their foreheads pressed together, they whispered barely audible words of love to each other, swore that this would be the last time they’d be seperated.
