Sam, who's heard about these books from Sarah, who's a huge fan, gifts one to Bucky as a joke. Bucky means to ignore the book until it spontaneously catches on fire, but after one night too many of not being able to sleep, he picks it up out of boredom... and finds himself getting reacquainted with his sexuality (which he's been ignoring for years) via 'this very mysterious author'.
