Summary
Buck couldn't get Eddie's words out of his head. Like this was all Buck's fault.
"I.. I thought he was my friend. My best friend. For years, Maddie. I trusted him with my life.. He saved my life… and now, now I think I don't trust him at all."

"So, you know I'm having a boy," Maddie began.
Buck drained the rest of his beer, shaking his head slightly. "I know where you're going with this."

Buck has a thing for acronyms. Silly downtime fic. Slight Buck/Eddie, can be interpreted as pre-or established relationship.
My first 9-1-1 fic. :)

Summary
“Is it weird that I’ve always wanted someone to kiss me like that?” Eddie says, mouth completely skipping that whole ask-brain-for-permission-first thing.
“No weirder than me always wanting to kiss someone like that,” Buck replies.
Every bit of oxygen is sucked out of the room. The movie is still playing, but Eddie can’t hear it over the ringing in his ears. His eyes snap to Buck, who is rhythmically puffing his cheeks out and picking at the label on his bottle of soda.
Five time Buck and Eddie kiss platonically, and one time they don't.

Summary
“You missed some,” Eddie said.
Buck let out a breath that was almost a laugh.
“Did I?”
“Yeah.”
“Where?”
Eddie held up his hand.
Buck looked at the frosting on Eddie’s knuckle.
His eyes stayed there a second longer than they needed to.
Then he stepped closer, his hip almost brushing Eddie’s knee.
“Here?” Buck asked.
His voice had gone softer.
Eddie nodded once.
Buck caught Eddie’s wrist again.
This time, Eddie noticed the way Buck held him. Thumb against his pulse. Fingers loose, like Eddie could pull away if he wanted to.
He did not want to.
Buck bent his head and put his mouth to Eddie’s knuckle.

Summary
“She said she wasn’t worried about us breaking up.”
Oh. Well. That was pretty definitively a thing that people said about partners who were together romantically.
“Say something,” Buck instructed.
“What?”
“Anything,” Buck said, his voice wavering on the word. Which was—it was weird, right? Why was Buck so shaken by a throwaway comment?
Or maybe the better question was why wasn’t Eddie? If either of them was going to get freaked out by the assumption that he was dating a man, it would make more sense for it to be Eddie, who was straight, and not Buck, who had, in fact, already dated men.
“Aren’t you going to be late for your shift?”

Buck and Eddie get shaken up by a comment from Theo’s social worker, and then by a magnitude 7 earthquake; it turns out, some disasters are better than others.

Summary
No. Whatever it is, no. Eddie would like Buck to stop chasing whatever that thing is. Would like to grab the thought out of Buck’s concussed head and throw it out a window.
Buck’s face drops into something serious, eyes wide. “You called me baby.”
There it is. Out the window it did not go.
“No, I didn’t,” Eddie says.
Very smooth. Convincing.
“You did.” Buck points at him, floppy and triumphant. “At the— the thing. With the— you said it. You called me baby.”
“I didn’t say that.”
“Eddie.” Buck is delighted. “I heard you. I was concussed, not deaf.”
“I didn’t call you baby,” Eddie scoffs. “I called you a baby. Because you got a bump on the head and were crying about it.”
“That’s not—” Buck starts.
“You were being a baby,” Eddie continues, standing now, because a moving target is harder to hit. “I’m gonna go tell the others you’re awake.”
“Eddie.”
“Rest your head, bud.”
