My eyes snapped open as I was unceremoniously rolled out of the cryogenic pod. I coughed, blinking blearily. Colors swirled around me, disjointed, making no sense. “Is something wrong? Are- did we take off yet?” My voice was scratchy and hoarse.
A voice laughed and I winced as someone shone a light in my eyes, checking my pupils. “Take off? Honey, we’re already here!”
(Shamelessly self-indulgent Avatar fic so I can write about the world and shove a character in there to stop all the particularly shit parts of the story from happening. Plus, eventually alien smut. Don't look at me that way. We all know the Na'vi are really attractive.)
