Summary
Being a teenager is hard enough. It's all very sweaty and confusing and involves a lot of studying and student council-ing. Mistakes are made. Maybe you'll make a fool of yourself being too passionate, or maybe you'll let everything slip away with a lack thereof. Then there was the navigating of one's sexuality, which usually is bungled in some sort of way. Maybe you kiss a boy when you are also a boy and you have to change how you think about everything. Maybe you kiss a boy and you are a girl but it just raises questions. Maybe you would rather do without kissing at all. This group of teens, especially, has an astounding mix of an Utter Lack of Knowledge When it Comes to Romance and Unearned Confidence in Their Romantic Abilities.
Then there's sex.
Mistakes were made, but they aren't as easy to brush off as the regular blunders.
